Plocher Möbelelemente GmbH can look back on over 70 years of success. Since its foundation in 1953 as Family-run cabinetmaker's workshop our company stands for Quality, efficiency and innovative solutions in the furniture industry.

What once began with the manufacture of doors, windows and classic joinery items has developed over the decades into a modern, internationally operating specialists for drawer frames, traverses, plinths, furniture profiles and complete furniture systems.

Today we are a Reliable partner to the furniture industry and set standards for our customers with our dedicated team, state-of-the-art technology and customised products.

1953

Plocher Möbelelemente GmbH is founded as a family-run company. Plocher began as a cabinet maker and furniture shop. Doors, windows and other carpentry products were manufactured. In addition to the owner, 3 apprentices were employed.

1954

Relocation from Mühlbachstraße to Rosenfelder Straße - Plocher now has 5 employees and specialises in window construction.

1959

Expansion - construction of a production hall, which burnt down shortly after commissioning.

Drawer frames are added to the programme. The company now employs 35 people.

Construction of a further production hall.

1969

The development of the encased drawer frames was started.

The company is handed over to Ulla Plocher and Thomas Bätzner. Foundation of today's Plocher Möbelelemente GmbH.

1992

Construction of the first hall at the current location in the Ziegelhütte industrial estate.

1993

Axel Plocher joins the company as a partner and managing director.

1995

Relocation of drawer and traverse moulding production to the new plant.

2003

Expansion of the plant in the Ziegelhütte industrial estate. Last relocation section from the town centre

2014

Expansion of the storage area.

2016

Generation change of the traditional company Plocher Möbelelemente by the Egner family (ME Capital Advisory & Consulting GmbH)

Introduction of a fully comprehensive ERP system
